Hannah Thompson
Hannah Thompson is an artist and graphic designer born and raised in Clayton, CA. She is graduating with a BA in Visual Communication Design and minors in Digital Media and Business Administration. Growing up she always had a love for anything creative whether that was painting, drawing, scrapbooking, or design. As far as her personal style goes, it is constantly changing, but her work is largely inspired by her fascination for all the ways in which design is used to engage the world. Hannah believes that design is a form of connectivity that spans across generations and is a tool to improve the lives of others. Hannah is still exploring and discovering what direction she wants to take after graduation but in the meantime, creating helps her learn things about herself and the world around her.

Design Complex is a conceptual magazine created to encourage designers to appreciate where design started and how important it is to remeber today. As design is ever changing Design Complex brings the designer back to the important basics that came from the Bauhaus. The magazine serves as a modern insight to the orginial principles of deisign.
Bear Valley Poster Design
The inspiration behind this Bear Valley poster is that it is a place near and dear to me. I grew up skiing there and it is where my family has a cabin. We always celebrate Thanksgivings there so it is a special place for everyone. I wanted to capture it in a unique way and give to my grandma as a Christmas gift to hang in the cabin. The poster is currently hanging there where it can be appreciated everyday.
